2. Give any two uses of VLSI designed circuits.
3. Expand and explain HDLC.
4. What are the characteristics of PCI bus?
5. Why do you need a cross compiler?
6. What are the advantages of building ISR queues?
7. Explain the objectives of Kernel.
8. What are the uses of semaphores?
9. What is the meaning of Task Service functions?

11. (a) (i) Explain the various forms of memories present in a system. (8)
(ii) List the hardware unit that must be present in the embedded systems.(8)
