Applications are invited for following posts in various offices under Government of India falling within the jurisdiction of Staff Selection Commission (Central Region), Allahabad:

Name of the Posts :
1. Senior Technical Assistant
Department : Directorate of Sugarcane Development, Lucknow
No. of Posts : 01 – OBC ( Post not suitable for PH/VH)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with G.P. 4200/- (revised) (Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
Age Limit : 30 years ( Relaxable by 3 years for OBC ; 5 yrs for Central Govt. Civilian Employees)
Educational Qualification : Degree in Agriculture followed by Post Graduate Degree in Agronomy/Plant Breeding /Genetics from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Experience in Food crops/ cash crops (Oil seeds, Jute, Cotton, Tobacco and Sugarcane).

2. Technical Officer- I
Department : Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad
No. of Posts : 02 ( OBC – 01 ; SC – 01 )
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 with G.P. 2000/- (revised) (General Central Services, Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, Non-technical).
Age Limit : 18 – 25 years ( Relaxable 5 yrs for SC and 3 yrs for OBC)
Educational Qualification : Intermediate with Science in Zoology/Botany/ Agriculture or 10+2 class pass with
Science (with Zoology/Botany or Agriculture) from a recognized University / Board or equivalent.

3. Junior Technical Assistant
Department : Office of Regional Director (Northern Region)
No. of Posts : 02 ( UR – 01 ; OBC – 01 )
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 with G.P. 4200/- (revised) (General Central Services, Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted, Ministerial).
Age Limit : 30 years (3 yrs Relaxation in age for OBC)
Educational Qualification : Degree in Commerce or Economics or Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Application Fee : Rs.50/- (NO Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women)
How to Apply : Applications separately for different categories of posts must be submitted in the Prescribed format.  The applications may be typed out in double space or Computer printed or written in hand neatly, but format should be the same as published. The applications should be addressed to the Regional Director (CR), Staff Selection Commission, 8, A-B, Beli Road, Allahabad-211002 and must be sent by Speed Post only. Fees should be paid only by way of CRFS.

Documents to be attached with the Application :
Central Recruitment fee stamps affixed and clearly cancelled by the issuing post office on the application form, so that the date of cancellation by the Post Office is clearly visible.
One recent passport size photograph should be pasted (NOT STAPLED) on the space provided in application form
One self-addressed postcard duly affixed with an additional Rs. 6/- postage stamp. The candidate must indicate the name of the post, category number, and Advt. No. on the postcard.
Two self-addressed envelopes of 10 cms X 22 cms size and one of these should be affixed with postage stamps worth Rs. 8/-.
Two slips indicating name and postal address of the candidate.
Attested/self-attested copies of certificates in the format as prescribed in this advertisement, in favour of claim of belonging to SC/ST/OBC/OH/HH/VH/EXS community/ category.
