Name of the Post : Medical Officer
No. of Posts : 12 (SC 1 + ST 1 + OBC 1 + UR 9)
Pay Scale : Rs.20600 – 46500 + NPA as applicable
Age Limit : 35 Years as on 01.06.2012 (Relaxable by 5 yrs for SC/ST & 3yrs in the case of OBC)
Qualification : MBBS of a recognized University with 1 year experience after completion of 1 year compulsory House Surgency or its equivalent. Should have registered in the Medical Council.
Desirable : P.G.Diploma / P.G.Degree preferably in the field of Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, Orthopaedics.
How to Apply : Candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format to the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Chennai Port Trust Hospital, Spring Haven Road, Chennai – 600 001, in a closed cover superscribing on the envelope “Application for the post of Medical Officer”. Attested xerox copies of all certificates including Qualification, Internship, Medical Council Registration, Experience, Community, etc., should be enclosed along with application. Applications without xerox copies of certificates will be rejected.
