Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2012, popularly known as AIPVT, scheduled to be held on the below mentioned date. AIPVT is an entrance test conducted by VCI at All-India level for admission into five-year full-time Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B V Sc & AH), to be offered in the ensuing session 2012-13. Admission is offered against 15% of total seats in Veterinary Colleges across India, except in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the office of Controller of Examination, Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi - 110 066 through post by sending a request along with a Demand Draft of Rs 1250 (Rs 650 for SC / ST candidates) and two plain paper slips (with name and complete address in capital letters with PIN-code). The DD should be drawn on any scheduled bank in favor of “Veterinary Council of India - Examination Fund”, payable at New Delhi.
The application form can also be obtained in person from the office of the Registrar of State Veterinary Council (addresses of VCI State Registrar Office is given on the official website of VCI: http://www.vci-india.in/home.htm) on payment of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft, drawn on any scheduled bank in favor of “Veterinary Council of India - Examination Fund”, payable at New Delhi. In addition, one can get the same from selected branches of Vijaya Bank (list given on the website) on cash payment of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST candidates).
The duly filled in application form, along with all requisite documents (list of enclosures given on the website), should be sent by Speed / Registered Post only to Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi - 110 066, on or before below mentioned last date of submission.
